The Seminario del Santisimo Rosario de Caceres, Inc., commonly known as the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary, is a vibrant center of educational excellence and holistic formation, preparing future civic and Church servant-leaders who will advance social transformation in Bikol.
Mission
Honoring its heritage as the oldest school for higher education in South Luzon and its role in seminary formation for more than two centuries, the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary commits to serve young men who are discerning a priestly vocation, their families, and the Church by providing integral human, intellectual, spiritual, and pastoral formation while building a Christ-centered community imbued with Gospel values and equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership and lifelong learning.
Philosophy
The educational philosophy embraced by Holy Rosary Minor Seminary finds its succinct expression in the Second Vatican Council's Declaration on Christian Education (Gravissimum Educationis).
Recognizing this declaration, the Bishops of the Philippines reaffirm the importance of seminary formation in preparing young men to proclaim the Gospel.
